We support Lister, Mount Vernon, QEII & HC to go above and beyond for our patients

Story

I am being a brave 'sole' and walking over hot coals on 1st May to raise money for the Magic of Play Appeal!

The appeal is to raise £250,000 for a new much needed playroom on the children's unit at Lister hospital.  The current playroom is a 25 year old portakabin, which is small, cold and damp with no designated facilities for children with low immunities, such as children having chemotherapy.  The new playroom will have a seperate playroom for these children to be able to get away from their cubicles to a calming place away from the clinical environment, and somewhere for

teenagers and a new sensory space.  With a comfy family area for children, parents and siblings to have some time together away from the ward.  This project is so important, and will make such a difference to young patients at Lister.

Please help the Ween Firewalking Team help sick children have a better experience in hospital.
