Story
Hello my friends, family and colleagues
I've never done a charity cycle before so I'm looking for some help! While my bum recovers from a recent warm-up ride, I am preparing to cycle from Brussels to London next week. It's being organised by a charity called Right To Play UK who support children's right to play as a way to build essential skills in children and thereby drive social change in communities affected by war, poverty and disease.
All good stuff. And if you're feeling miffed about the recent World Cup football shenanigans, I'm sure this charity could put the money you didn't spend at the bar to good use in countries like South Africa, my old home.
There are some added incentives which you might find interesting...
1) Ever thought it'd be nice to have a selection of useful websites to peruse, rather than the usual mess? Donate £15 or more and I'll spend an hour of my time seeking out websites that are perfect for you and put them in a lovely list, giftwrapped with their links.
2) Too busy to plan that next exciting trip in London? Donate £25 or more and I'll plan an evening's worth of entertainment on a night of your choice in London Town.
3) Donate substantially more than that and, well, you'll just be a legend, and children in dusty streets playing football will sing to you like they do when Prince Charles turns up.
Thanks for your time, and Right To Play thanks you for your gift.
Much love
Paul
P.S. Some handy small print about this website:
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
