Story

Hello and thank you for visiting Paul's fundraising page.

Paul Baden was a master craftsman builder for over 40 years, retraining to become a Psychotherapist in his fifties. He often talked about the lifelong impact of childhood. He was a father himself and had four grandchildren. He hated the idea of any children being neglected and even travelled to Romania to help restore an orphanage.

Paul had wanted to buy and convert a bus to take disadvantaged kids on holiday. He loved the idea of children having a happy day, forgetting their worries and just having fun. Sadly he couldn't realise this himself and that's why we've chosen to support the Happy Days Children's charity in his memory.

"Last year, Happy Days helped almost 25,000 children with life-limiting illnesses, mental and physical disabilities and those who had suffered abuse and neglect. We also gave magical days out to bereaved children, as well as young carers supporting their families."

Your support would have meant such a lot to him. Thank you.
