Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

My son James and I will be walking the West Highland Way in July 2015, from Milngavie to Fort William with family friends. A total distance of 96m (154km) which we aim to cover in one week.  That is the equivalent of a half marathon each day.

That may not sound too much but a few practice walks of around 10 miles in just one day suggest that by the end of the week we will be suffering. I hate to think what my poor body will have to say about it, however, it is being done to raise money for SANDS a charity which is very close to our hearts and I hope you will give generously to a very worthwhile cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
