A subject very close to our heart. My Angela has had the incredible misfortune of this rare disease twice.  Operations and treatment have saved her life on both occasions. But living with the knowledge that it could come back plays heavy on your mind, not forgetting frequent check ups and scans.  So because I, her family, friends (and pets) think the world of Angela I would like to raise money for her chosen charity. GIST Cancer UK funds research and provides support for patients with a rare form of cancer known as Gastro-Intestinal Stromal Tumours (GIST). We provide patient information in hospitals throughout the UK, host support meetings for patients and their carers and an online community providing practical advice and information.
