Last week on the 6 November 2018, along with some fifty others, I slept overnight in the open in a courtyard at The Royal Academy, London to raise funds for homeless people . #Brave the Cold was the hashtag but towards the end of the night it was more 'Brave the Rain'.
Based in the heart of Westminster, the Centre provides activities for children and families in need to learn and play together; expert advice and advocacy for vulnerable and isolated people; and safe accommodation with round-the-clock support for homeless young people.
Last year 1,200 people came to the Centre for help.
Please help me to reach my personal goal of £1000 towards the Centre's overall target for the evening's sleep out
Your donation means so much.
£12 can pay for a young person to travel to college for a week
£25 can pay for a kitchen ‘starter pack’ so a young homeless person can learn to cook.
£50 can pay for bedding and towels for when they move into their new room.
Thank you for your support!
