Day 1 complete.. Only 5 days of pain to go!

Thanks for visiting my Biking 4 Ben fundraising page.

Ben was a dearly loved father, husband, brother, son and friend who is greatly missed. He died of pneumonia just 2 days after his 37th birthday leaving a young family; wife Emma and beautiful boys Jacob (7) and Sam (4).

I am cycling with a team of Ben's family and friends, coast to coast across the French Pyrenees on 22nd-27th June 2014 to raise money in Ben's name for Winston's Wish, a charity which supports bereaved children like those that Ben has left behind.

The challenge covers a distance of 650kms over 6 days with an ascent of over 10km, climbing 12 cols including the famous Tour de France giants Col du Tourmalet, Col d'Aspin and Col d'Aubisque.

Please give generously for this amazing cause and help children like Jacob and Sam live with their grief and rebuild positive futures.
