Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have only ever competed in half marathons before, but as I am 60 now, I have rather foolishly decided to compete in my first full marathon. This will be in Edinburgh on 26th May 2013.
The charity I wish to benefit from my fundraising effort is Macmillan cancer support. My sister-in-Laws husband recently passed away after a battle with cancer and a stroke. During his sickness, the support he and his family received from the Macmillan nurses was exemplary. This run will be in fond memory of Jim Bain and in recognition of the vital work that the Macmillan nurses provide to everyone suffering with cancer in the UK
