Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am raising money on behalf of my sister in law, Sonia Stout, who unfortunatly lost her first daughter at a young age.Please see the picture.
Please can you help raise money and awareness for a very rare type of cancerous brain tumour called "Teratoid Rhabdoid".
It is so rare around the world that more research needs to be done, in the hope that one day
they will be able to know what causes them, and be able to save many precious children.
Sadly this was not the case for my sister in law's daughter, who is sadly missed by all of her family.
So please dig deep and donate now, and help me raise money, as a little can go a long way!
All money raised will be given to Dr Lowis research within the oncoligy department, at the
Royal Hospital for Children in Bristol.
Many thanks for taking the time and looking.
Now for the easy bit! I am undertaking probably the hardest run in the UK, which is the Grand Union Canal Race. It starts in the centre of Birmingham and finishes in Little Venice in London, covering a total distance of 146 miles and I need to complete it in under 45hrs! In order to complete this behemoth task, I will have to undertake an intense training regime. Therefore in addition to my training i am also running the following races;
The Thames trot 50
The Virgin London Marathon
The Goring 10k
The Compton 40
With the Grand Union race, the total number of miles i will be running is 272 (not including training) but if you all help me to reach my £1000 target i will 'go the extra mile' and run a total of 300 miles!
So wish me luck and dig deep as they say every little helps
Thanks again Paul
