Story

I am doing the following challenge:

http://www.stcolumbashospice.org.uk/events-directory/celticchallenge/

Just before Christmas 2015, and after a long battle with a brain tumour, my daughter Emma was moved to St Columba's Hospice, Edinburgh, to receive palliative care after it was found no further treatment was possible.

While there, she received astounding care and support from all the staff, as did her family, and we will always be grateful.

Emma died peacefully on January 14th 2016.

I want to return the support we all received from the hospice, and so I am taking up the 4-day cycle challenge to raise as much as I can for them.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for your support.
