For my cycle challenge this year I am going continental, and along with my good friends, cycle veteran Phil Madders and challenge virgin Paul Mason,  we will be cycling from Woking to Santander… and I don’t mean the Building Society in the High Street!  

This will be a gruelling, unsupported journey of 800 miles. Our route will take us from Woking to Portsmouth, then along the French coast from St Malo, through La Rochelle, Bordeaux,  across the Pyrenees’(!) to San Sebastian, Bilbao, and down through the Basque region of Spain to the port of Santander. Our journey commences in Woking on the 28th August and finishes in Santander on the 10th September.

One thing that will keep my spindle–like  legs turning will be the knowledge that a lot of very kind and generous people will be sponsoring me, and that failure is not an option. So can I ask you to please dig deep and donate what you can to help support Woking Hospice.  Sponsorship can be easily made through my JustGiving account by following the link below.
