Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Dementia has affected and is still affecting me and my family.
To raise funds I am cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats, 980 miles, cycling through 27 Counties across England, Wales and Scotland. The ride is over 9 days from 7th to 15th September 2019 and I will be cycling on average 110 miles each day.
I am cycling in memory of my late Dad, Ray Remmonds and to help raise funds to support people affected by dementia like my Mum.
My fund-raising goal is £2200.00.
However just £11 could pay for a person with dementia and their carer to attend a Dementia cafe.
£30 could fund one of the Society's Side by Side services for 1-hour, pairing people with dementia with volunteers so they have the support they need.
£50 could fund the equipment a dementia researcher needs for a day to investigate ways to improve care and treatment for the condition.
