On Friday the 15th of October, 2010, I was admitted to Sunderland Royal Hospital with the beginings of Guillian Barre Syndrome, by Sunday, I had been moved to the Integrated Critical Care Unit, or intensive care to the rest of us. Over the coming year, Myself, my friends and my family intend to do a series of events to help raise money and awareness of both the syndrome, and the excellent support network of the Guillain Barre support group.
We also hope to raise money for the absolutely brilliant ICCU at Sunderland Royal Hospital.
Over the coming months we will ride bikes from coast to coast, walk and climb mountains, run marathons and generally do whatever we can to help raise money for my chosen charities.
