Make-A-Wish UK is part of a global movement that exists to make life-changing wishes come true for the thousands of critically ill children across the UK. The power of a wish allows families to create lasting memories that they will treasure forever – no matter what the future holds.

Story

I am supporting Make-A-Wish and The Hospice of the Good Shepherd by running 3 events. The Great North Run, The Chester Marathon and Hell Run. Make-A-Wish UK grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions.
Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. They’re given quality time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make magical memories they can treasure forever – whatever their future may hold.

The Hospice if the Good Shepherd is a respected provider of palliative care for residents if the chester area. They provide free services to patients and families facing life limiting illnesses. Their team are available to help patients, friends, families and carers through difficult and painful times and provide practical, emotional, social and spiritual support.

These are 2 great causes so please help me raise as much as possible as it will make a big difference to someone's life. I've ran the great north run before so know how tough it is but never attempted a full marathon and as for hell run, the clue is in the name. I've even given up beer to prepare, that has to be worth a donation in itself!!!!!!!!

Thank you everyone.
