We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On May 10 2014 we are going to run the 140 mile coast to coast (C2C) route. We work in the Family Justice system in the north east, or know someone who does, and are coming together to raise money for Cancer Research. We all have family or friends whose lives have been affected by this illness and we want to support Cancer Research in beating cancer.

We have set ourselves the challenge of crossing the country in relays starting at first light on the shore of the Irish Sea at Whitehaven, and carrying on until we reach the North Sea at Tynemouth. We will all run the first and last miles and in between will tackle at least two stretches each in pairs. This will be challenging for us. It would be fair to say we are a mixed abilities group and we will be training hard to tackle the Lakeland Hills, the Hartside and Garrigill passes and the gruelling Alston Moor. So please support us and help us help Cancer Research beat cancer sooner.
