We help people with Down’s Syndrome to reach their fullest potential

Story

Pipe Major Neil Nicholson and 3 other members of Mackenzie Caledonian Pipe Band, Pipe-Sergeant Allan Low, & Pipers David Stark and Ross Taylor will cycle approx 46 Miles from Dundee to Pitlochry on the morning of Saturday 12th September 2015, before playing in the Grade 2 & 1 Pipe Band Contest at Pitlochry Highland Games in the Afternoon. This will be a massive challenge and they have decided to make this a charity event.

Gwen McAndrew who is also a piper in the band, has 4 children, the youngest is 3 year old Bobbi, who has Down's Syndrome.

Down Syndrome Scotland  has offered the McAndrew family a huge amount of support over the last few years, and the Mackenzie Caledonian Pipe Band has decided to donate all the money raised from this event, to the Downs Syndrome Scotland Family Support Service to assist in their work, and raise awareness for the charity.

Please give generously as all money will go direct to the charity, allowing them to continue their great work in our area and across Scotland supporting Children and Adults with Down's Syndrome to realise and fulfil their full potential.

As a thank you to anyone who sponsors the guys (UK based),they will be entered into a draw to win a Piping Hot Forres Hamper.
