For some people a 10k run is a challenge in itself. I have made the decision to run the Burnley 10k this year dressed in full police riot gear , this will be tough especially in the heat as I will have overalls,pads and a base layer underneath not to mention that this along with all other police equipment will weigh an extra stone and half  

I am raising money in memory of my dad Tony Marsden who sadly passed away 2 1/2 years ago. He was looked after before he died by the hospice at home team from Pendleside Hospice. Since then I have run the London Mararathon and done a couple of other fundraising events for them. The hospice relies on fundraising and donations to keep open and provide a quality of care to their patients and offer families further support in time of need.
