EACH's hospice in Ipswich was opened in 1999 as a pilot project and demand has increased so much over this time that they have simply outgrown it. EACH were very generously donated a four acre plot of land on which they have obtained planning permission for a new six bedroomed hospice. They have launched The Treehouse Appeal to raise the £3million required to be able to build it and need everybody's help to make this much needed project come to life. On Saturday the 18^th September 2010, Paul Kingston of Orwell Housing and Steve Gray of SNAP, will be hopping into their canoe, ready & eager to start paddling their way through the River Thames, which begins as a small trickle in the Cotswolds.  As dusk approaches, the pair will switch their canoeing skills to tent erecting and will have a well earned sleep in order to build up their energy for the next day.  This will be the routine the pair must endure for the next 8 days as the River Thames, from the Cotswolds to the centre of London, is a whopping 200 miles long!
