Story
I entered IronMan Wales in 2018, before we had heard of Covid. Since then, Dad became very ill with Pulmonary Fibrosis and Atrial Fibrillation, sadly leaving us on 8th June this year.
The care that Dad had, along with the support for Mum, from Lewis-Manning was exceptional. Dad wanted to die at home, with his dignity intact and I am so thankful that he was able to do that.
None of know when we might need the help of end of life care, either for ourselves or our loved ones, they are unsung heroes who deserve our support.
Dad had no breaths left, I have some to spare and am going to use them to give something back, a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run on Sept 11th this year. Why not help me to raise some money to support Lewis-Manning Hospice and make a difference to someone's end of life?
