We raise funds for children & young people to help advance their musical education

Story

I’m back on the fundraising guys. This year I will be running the Edinburgh Marathons Festival 10km and The Barrathon for Eilidh’s Trust. I will be aiming to get PB’s at both event so hopefully that will keep my training up.

Eilidh's Trust has been established to make a positive difference from tragic circumstances. The Trust aims to support music education for children and young people which will allow others to continue Eilidh's passion for music and follow the same journey she had only just embarked on.

Fourteen-year-old Eilidh MacLeod from the Isle of Barra in Scotland's Outer Hebrides was one of the victims in the Manchester Arena bombing in May 2017. She was a talented musician, participating in the local pipe band - something she loved dearly and which gave her confidence. Her family want other young people to have that same opportunity through the work of the Trust.
