Story

Huntington's Disease (HD) is a neurological disease for which there is presently no known cure or effective treatment. This sickening disease damages cells of the brain leading to loss of function in these areas robbing the sufferer of all their dignity and their pride.

We lost Clive, my uncle, to Huntington’s disease a couple of years ago and his mother, my nan, a number of years before that. Fortunately we were able to find Clive a place in a care home, near Launceston Cornwall, as the needs of a HD sufferer are very demanding and it takes a special person to be able to manage with these difficulties.

I am hoping that your kind donations will help in providing care for other sufferers of HD and assist in the path of finding treatment of the disease.
