Story
Daniel loved the world and all life within it. On 15th December last year he took part in a 10km charity run at Victoria Park in London and was proud to raise £440 for WWF-UK. These are Daniel's own words taken from his fundraising page for that event. They will explain better than I ever could the kind of caring person that Daniel was. Feel free to donate here if you so wish and help to continue Daniel's fundraising efforts to protect life against the damage that we cause.
We are all aware of the critical damage that's been caused by deforestation, hunting, overfishing, overpopulation and the burning of fossil fuels, but are we making enough of a difference to save our planet, that us human beings call home? The World and the animals that inhabit it are suffering due to our negligence. Everyday becomes even more of a challenge for the wildlife who live on our planet due to the drastic changes in the natural environment. Global Temperatures are rising at an unprecedented rate which, in turn, causes the ecosystems to completely crash and burn. The number of endangered species is at an all time high, and the number of animals that exist within those selected species are at an all time low. Our home has a natural order and all things are interdependent, yet, we pollute the very same air that we breathe, the very same air that sustains all living things. The creatures that are a part of the natural order are slowly dying out and we are the very reason why this is happening. However, even though we are the ones who have been the catalyst in the destruction of our planet, we are also the ones who can restore balance and harmony to the World. We are the ones who can create a better future for our Garden of Eden. Our wildlife, the ones who don't have a voice, need our protection and our help, and as a fellow human being, I feel that it's my responsibility to play my part.
