Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
For those who know me well, the past 3 years has been a bit of a rocky road.... for those who don't know me, I was admitted to the Walton Neuro Centre in Liverpool in 2011. This was a life changing event and subsequently ended my career which I loved and led onto other personal difficulties including stopping sport. In 2013 I was given the opportunity to work at Daisy UK and in the past 12 months I have come to appreciate others who have had similar experiences and struggle on a daily basis. The work that Daisy UK do is second to none and the team provides help, support, training and education for disabled children across Merseyside. They do this by using reverse inclusion through the medium of sport so that all can compete. Daisy UK is a small charity that does not charge for its services and reaches the most vulnerable members of our society. I personally want to thank all the team at Daisy UK for giving me a chance. I continue to be reviewed by the doctors at Walton but hope to be strong enough to complete my challenge to raise awareness of the great work that Daisy UK and the Walton Centre does.
