As a serving officer with Police Scotland for over 14 years I have decided to raise money for the police treatment centres charity by competing at the REORG Brazilian Jiu Jitsu open on June 4th 2023 in Wolverhampton in both Gi & No Gi categories.

The reason for this is to raise awareness for the work the PTC does & also raise funds for them.

The Police Treatment Centres are a national charity who help the rehabilitation of hundreds of police officers every year.

They do so via in patient physical therapy & psychological well-being programmes & rely solely on donations as they receive no government or police force funding.

I have chosen the ReOrg open as ReOrg are an organisation set up to create safe environments through functional fitness and jiujitsu for veterans, military and emergency services personnel to support their physical and mental well-being.
