Story
At the start of 2019 I was overweight, un-fit and doing no exercise at all. I decided that enough was enough and started to diet and get fit. I started to run. I completed a 10K and then just about finished a Half Marathon.
I said to myself that I would complete a Full Marathon during 2019 and this is basically the last chance I have. I need some real motivation and I think that there is nothing better than supporting Sick Children.
I am very proud to be able to support The Pied Piper.
Please, not matter how much, just donate what you can and share this page.
The Pied Piper Appeal was founded in 1992 by local hairdresser Peter Hickman and £4 million was pledged to build a new Children's Centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. The money was quickly raised with the centre opening in 2004. Since then, Pied Piper have continued to fund the Children's Centre along with improving experiences with mental health facilities, sending children and their families on Wish Holidays and supporting SEND schools, pledging £500,000 to the Chamwell Centre Project which started building work in February 2019.
