Story
I am cycling across Vietnam starting on October 4th for the Leonard Cheshire Charity that helps disabled world wide, particularly in the UK. I start in Ho Chi Minh city and cross Vietnam mainly on back roads, jungle tracks and sometimes a boat/raft. On day 7 we reach Cambodia and the terrain turns into tracks thro thick forests and isolated settlements ending at the World Heritage centre in Angkor Wat - so all in all this will be a big challenge BUT for a great cause.
Leonard Cheshire is the largest charity in its sector in the UK and helps all with a disability to live the life they want to live as independantly as possible. It looks after many who become disabled after major traumas and has many homes (Cheshire Homes) that constantly need attention as they home many disabled who look to the Leonard Cheshire teams as their close family.
