Paul walked the wall for NEPAC in memory of Adrian

Well I did it! it was a great experience and I'm really grateful to all of you who supported me. For those of you that haven't yet - it's not too late!
The weather could have been kinder - it rained for most of three of the five days but it didn't detract from my enjoyment. There is so much to see and learn on the route of the wall, and it really brought home to me what a fanastic achievement it was for the Romans to have built it.
All the money I raise will be given to NEPAC, a charity that funds blood cancer research in the North East of England, and will be passed on directly to a Newcastle University-based research team led by Professor Steve Proctor. It was Steve Proctor who treated Adrian in the early part of his illness and his team are doing great work.
My route was as follows and you can see a few of the many pictures I took along the way.
Day 1 - Bowness on Solway to Carlisle
Day 2 - Carlisle to Gilsland
Day 3 - Gilsland to Chollerford
Day 4 - Chollerford to East Wallhouses
Day 5 - East Wallhouses to Tynemouth (via Wallsend)
