Dear friends,

I have always been a believer that the change I want to see in the world starts with me and with this in mind I have decided to act and stop being the person that talks about it to become a person that DOES IT!

In November 2013 I will be taking part in a challenge across the Jordanian desert with an all female team, to raise funds for the charity Women for Women International. I feel honoured to be  part of this team!

This charity helps women survivors of war rebuild their lives and achieve self-sufficiency!

Our Journey will begin in Amman, the capital of Jordan, and continue on to Wadi rum, folowing the magical trail of the Bedouin people of the deserts of the Rakebat Canyon.

The trek inlcudes an average of 7 to 8 hours of hard hiking per day (carrying 15/20Kg packs) under blistering heat, on a multitude of terrains, and culminates with the scaling of the steep rocky facade of Jebel Um Adaam, the highest mountain in Jordan, located near the border of Saudi Arabia.
