Fundraising for Ovarian Cancer Action

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in memory of my wife Marjorie.

She was a much loved Wife, Mum, Grandma, Sister, Colleague and friend to many. We will never forget Marjorie, as she was such a very special person who touched so many lives.
As in previous years, March this year (2013) has been designated as 'Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month'.
It doesn't seem possible that almost 3 years have passed since Marjorie died on Wednesday, 10th March, 2010 at the age of 67,
in Mount Vernon Cancer Hospital after only being diagnosed 3 weeks previously It is unbelievable that through the generosity of family and friends that to date almost £4,700 has been raised for this very worthy charity.
Mandy with her friend Jess, held a ‘Cupcake Break’ (www.thecupcakebreak.org.uk ) one in their village, East Haddon, Northants on 25 March, just after her death and they raised £1,100 in only two hours!! - see photo attached.
The family held a ‘Cupcake Break’ (www.thecupcakebreak.org.uk ) to raise further funds at our cottage in Norfolk, shortly afterwards on the 3rd April, on what would have been her 68th Birthday.
