Bristol Children’s Hospital is an amazing place full of amazing people...In September I gave birth to 2 very beautiful baby boys...Lucas and Isaac at Musgrove Park Hospital... However shortly before discharge Lucas was diagnosed with a very serious heart condition... Our world was turned upside down and Ickkle Lucas so small was whisked to BCH. He spent 12 weeks on ward 32 Cardiac ward. He underwent major cardiac surgery to have a BT Shunt fitted.. Shortly after we lost him twice and as a result he required an emergency tracheotomy..... Lucas is a little solider who requires around the clock care but we will continue to be strong and get him through the next couple of years where he will require further cardiac surgery.
On Friday 19th of February this year Lucas become increasingly poorly once again and was whisked off to Bristol Children’s Hospital where he required emergency open heart surgery and required a Glenn shunt putting in.......... he is currently still in on ward 32.....

As a result I would like to say a huge thank you to ward 32 and as a result myself and my sister have signed up for a tandem skydive in aid of the WALLACE AND GROMIT GRAND APPEAL which helps raise vital funds for the hospital and in particular the cardiac ward, where my ickkle man requires ongoing vital care...........................

Please would you take in your hearts to donate to this great cause.... we require £800 and only have three weeks in which to raise it as we are jumping on the 1st of May 2010......
