I am the Mother of 3 adult children and Nana to 4 gorgeous grandsons. I come from a large extended family who have all raised children. We have been very lucky that in all these years of raising our families none of our children have had to experience sleeping on the streets. Working in Depaul's Regional Office in Whitley Bay, I have seen first hand the young people who come to them for support and the amazing work carried out by the staff and volunteers of their various projects that really do make a difference.  835 people helped in the past year with 83% who accessed the Nightstop project moving off the streets. 

All of this effort takes money so on Friday 16th December I will be donning my warmest clothes and taking myself well and truly out of my comfort zone and sleeping out in Durham Cathedral to help raise awareness and, most of all, money for Depaul's projects. So please help me to help them.
