Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year i made the decision to run the London Marathon 2017 and have been training in secret since then. Yes, SECRET! At the time this justgiving page goes to launch my Husband and family will be finding out for the FIRST time that i am running! So if you're bored and you fancy knowing how I have managed this you can read it by copying this link to your URL::

The majority of you visiting this justigving page will not need to read my story to know 'why' I'm doing this again. If you know me personally then you'll know why, you'll understand only too well. I've now lost not one, but both of my beautiful Brothers to bowel cancer and quite frankly they should still be with me, with all of us who continue to love them and miss them each and every day.
I wasn't supposed to run again, 2013 should have been the last time, i promised my Husband so as well. But then I lost John as well as having lost Stephen and well... words fail me. BUT i know i have to just keep getting the message out there and keep helping wonderful people like Beating Bowel Cancer to continue what they do so well. Not only do they continue to raise awareness of this cancer that can be so treatable if caught early enough, but they provide a forum for patients and family members to seek help and support. I relied heavily on support from this during my Brother Johns illness as i did years before with Stephen. They need my help, because people like my Brothers need their help. It's that simple folks. That's why i'm running again and asking you AGAIN to dip your hands in your purse/wallet and help me out!
For every day i wake up and think 'oh i have an ache or a pain' or 'its cold, wet and windy' I only have to think of my Brothers and that's enough to see me on through. John wanted to run the London Marathon when he was 'fit enough' - heck he'd even applied to do it in 2013 but didn't make it through the ballot. I was privately relieved though. He wanted to give something back though, so thankful to still be around. So now i run again 'for him'. x
PLEASE help me to soften the blow to my family who will have only just found out what i'm doing by DONATING to this ridiculously worthy cause. HELP ME by showing just how much i can raise so they forgive me :) :)
