UPDATE: 2/7/14

Coffee morning was a great success,over £1400.00 raised which we shared between Accord Hospice and MND. thank you so much to everyone who donated, helped on the day or came along and spent a bit.  Hope everyone had a good day. 

Our local pub Lord Lounsdale have agreed to hold their fun day/annual cycle run for MND in support of John (it was his favourite place for a beer!) Thanks so much to them.  will be in August I will confirm date. Another event to help raise funds for MND and remember what a wonderful man John was.

I still miss him every minute of every day!

Brogan has just raised a staggering £4372.00 in memory of her Dad.  She organised and ran a race night that was a huge success, and also ran the 10K at which she did amazing.  Her Dad would be so proud of her.  Couple more things coming up - Coffee morning and West Highland Way Walk.  Thanks to everyone who helped and donated.

John was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in April 2013, which devastated both him and everyone who loved him.  We decided not to lie down but to live every day to the full.  John had a huge personality and found a reason to smile and laugh each day.  Our family and friends surrounded him with love and support and made such a difference to his quality and enjoyment of life.  Sadly John passed away on 30 December 2013.  

In his memory we are going to raise as much as we can to help MND Scotland to fight this devastating illness and keep our memories of John alive.

Please dig deep people and join in when you can.  We are planning to walk part of the West Highland Way in July, hold a fundraising night in May and even have a couple of people doing the Clyde zipline.

Even if you cant make any of these please donate even a small amount to MND Scotland.

We will update events and pictures as they happen.  This page is in memory of a wonderful man and every event we have will be a celebration of his life.
