THANK YOU TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY FOR HELPING ME REACH MY NEW TARGET OF £1300.
I AM ABSOLUTELY THRILLED BY THIS AND THERE ARE STILL TWO WEEKS UNTIL THE JUMP.
If you would still like to sponsor me there is still time!
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SPONSORED ME SO FAR AND HELPING ME TO EXCEED MY TARGET OF £1000.
As I am still collecting I have put the target up to £1300 as of March 31st.
I am well aware that you all think I am quite mad! Well, I am mad and enjoy taking risks as they make life so much more fun.
As many of you know I have now done two tandem parachute jumps and this one will probably be the last one? As I want the thrill of the adventure again I am raising money this time for St Raphael's Hospice in Cheam, Surrey, where my mother was cared for so brilliantly during her last few days by all the staff. The family were very well supported also and I shall never forget their help. I will always be so very grateful to them all and these are the reasons why I have decided to raise money for this charity this time.It costs about £10,000 per day to run the Hospice, £3.6m per year, and the NHS gives about £1m per year towards this total. The huge gap has to be bridged by voluntary donations, fund raising events etc. I would be extremely grateful, as would the staff and patients of the Hospice, if you would support me for my tandem parachute jump by donating as much as you can afford, (and then perhaps a bit more? please) and when you do, please tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK taxpayer. For each pound that you so generously donate, the Hospice will receive a further 28p from the Government. Believe me, these 28p's soon add up.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. It really is appreciated. Paola
