Story

Every Penny Counts

I ran the Bath Half as a first time long distance runner on March 6th in memory of my good friend Neal Condict, who lost his battle in April 2010.

Mick Harris and I set ourselves a target of running in under 2 hours. We achieved our goal with an official time of 1 hour 57 minutes and 57 seconds. The last mile was a real struggle, but worth every step.

You can still donate, just because this run is finished, doesn't mean the good cause has.

If the figure is £1,000 by the end of April 2011, then I'll run it again in 2012

You can also donate for my other cause, the Cirencester Cricket Club Pavilion appeal (required to make the 200 year old Pavilion fit for use). To donate click http://www.justgiving.com/Cirencester-Pavilion-Redevelopment

Thank you all in advance for your generosity.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.
