In April 2010 my mum passed away at home after loosing her battle against lung cancer. It was my mum's wish to remain at home but this would not have been possible without the help and support we recieved from the nurses.

It is now my turn to help repay for the care my mum recieved by taking on this challenge. Raising money for Marie Curie gives terminally ill people the choice to remain at home until the end.

My mum was not only a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she was my best friend and my hero.
