On Saturday 13th June I will be taking part in the 5km Park Run at Telford Town Park in aid of The Georgia Williams Trust. 

Georgia suddenly lost her life on 26th May 2013, which impacted not only her family, friends but the whole community. From then on the trust had been set up in Georgia's memory to raise money to celebrate Georgia's life in enabling young people within the community to be able to have a go and enjoy the activities Georgia did and those which she always wanted to do. 

I met Georgia when I was 11 years old and from that first day of secondary school, we were joined at the hip. Georgia was a bright, bubbly and friendly person who had a life full of activity and was always aspiring to achieve great things. Georgia could brighten up your day whenever it was bad, make you laugh whenever you were sad and was not only a friend but a part of the family. The memories we have will always be treasured and now it is the time to be a part of honouring who she was by doing what she enjoyed most by being active and getting involved!
