Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Team KTDA are a group of 11 chaps, aged in our late 30's to early 40's.  The majority of us are Worthing born and bred, having been mates for many years, meeting through College, and the local County League football circuit.

Our mission is to ride from Worthing to Paris over 4 days.  This is a bike ride of 300 miles, starting from our home town of Worthing on Thursday 30th June and God willing, arriving in Paris four days later on Monday 3rd July 2016.

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East and West Sussex and cares for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-shortening conditions from Sussex and South East Hampshire.

There are potentially 1,000 families with life-limited children in Sussex. Chestnut Tree House offers support for the whole family including psychological and bereavement support, end of life and short break care and sibling support.

It currently costs well over £3.5m each year to provide all the care services provided by Chestnut Tree House. Families are never charged for their care and less than 7p in every pound is funded by the government, so we rely heavily on the generosity, help and support of the people of Sussex.

So please, Dig deep and help us raise as much as we can for this fantastic local charity.

Many thanks

Team KTDA
