Story

Hi, Thanks for visiting my page and
hopefully sponsoring me!

My name is Pete and I have served as an Army Officer on two Operational Tours, both Iraq and Afghanistan, having seen some of the great work that Forces Charities undertake on a daily basis I decided to get off my ass and raise some money for one of them.

The reason I have chosen Combat Stress is because of the great things they have been able to do for colleagues of mine, they spend a lot of the time dealing with the non visual injuries that being in a war zone can leave behind and help people to overcome their issues via a wide range of support methods, helping families stay together and people who have been willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice get back on their
feet.

I will not only be running the Manchester Marathon, but also the Manchester Half Marathon, so that’s 39.3 Miles for this charity, surely
that's worth a few £.

The Half Marathon is the 28th February and the Marathon is the 10th April, I will keep you updated on progress
