I gained a ballot place in the London Marathon in October 2019 but due to the Lockdown and personal injuries, I have been unable to take part until this year, October 2022.

Since Dec 2019, I have lost both parents to dementia (and Covid). Dementia is a terrible illness that can last many years, and there is no cure to stop it. Dementia UK provided valuable support to both my parents and my family during my parents' illness. In memory of my Mum and Dad, I am raising funds for Dementia UK by running the London Marathon on 2nd October.

Every donation, big or small, will go towards Dementia UK providing valuable support for others who are facing this condition.
