Story
Dear Friends,
Whenever you are in London, Hong Kong, or Canada, you are probably watching recent developments in Ukraine with fear and disbelief, as we do too…
Pictures of bombed maternity hospitals, people crammed in shelters, or the body of an 18-month-old Kiril, the youngest victim of this war, wrapped up in a plush blue blanket dotted with blood will stay with us for years, if not forever.
As our family and friends in Ukraine but also in Poland are running thin from all the havoc that took over their lives we impatiently watch, itching to do something... to do more... But what can we do?
We listen to them on the late-night calls, we shed one or two tears with them, we offer support financially and emotionally, and we pray. But is that enough?
The matter of fact is, it will never be enough! As long the invasion continues, we must help!
So, we are – the best way we can!
By setting out a challenge to walk, run or cycle 2312km in the month of April we hope to raise enough funds to make a difference.
You may ask why 2312km? It’s the exact distance between London and Kyiv and that is almost 10k daily for each member of our team!
It’s a tremendous task but we are willing to try.
However, we need YOU!
We need your support too!
