Like so many people, my life has been changed by cancer. I lost a close friend, Phil Sheldrake to Leukaemia in 2004 when he was just 34. As a result I have always wanted to take on a challenge to raise as much as possible for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research to help them in the battle against cancer.

I'll be running my first ever Marathon in Brighton on 14th April and with your help, I'll be able to raise lots of funds for the charity. 

Phil will always be an inspiration to me and the way he fought his illness will keep me going during the tough training over the next few months and of course the marathon itself. I know that cash can be especially tight at this time of year so any sponsorship you can give, however small, is really very much appreciated.
