I now have lots of Friends to join my "Rat Pack"

Rifles Awareness Team

First Major Outing - 15-18 April 2014

Newcastle Tyne Bridge to Redfern Barracks Edinburgh

Now for the Twist I still have my old wooden foot locker which we kept under our beds on Operations, a handle on both sides, not a light and easy box to carry, but for 2 of the Group it will be your Task to carry it, swapping it around the Group throughout the 4 days inside..........................under lock and key will be my Uncles World War One Bayonet complete with Scabbard and mounted on a Beautiful Piece of heavy wood, he Served in the 9th Battalion of the Durham Light Infantry and they were known as the Gateshead Ghurkas.

Our Aim will be to get it to the Barracks safely and Present it to the Commanding Officer of the 3rd Battalion the Rifles, Coco

Please see the link to my just giving page should you wish to Sponsor the Event, all money will then go directly to Care for Casualties including Gift Aid, Thanks in Advance, Coco
