My friends were keen for me to join them in the etape caledonia cycle race this year. Raising money for charity seemed a good way to provide extra drive to prepare for the race (and provided an entry!).  

I've seen the great support and care Marie Curie services can provide for patients first hand when they have helped care for patients I have looked after. The support they provide is invaluable to patients and their families so I am delighted this race has given me the opportunity to raise money for them.
