Story
This April, I'm running the London Marathon in aid of Coram.
Coram is the longest-running children's charity in the UK, and the work they do touches the lives of over 44,000 children and parents every year.
Coram's work includes adoption, creative therapies and supported housing for care leavers, helping children and young people to find stability, love and self worth.
Coram's adoption service has one of the highest success rates in the country, 92% of vulnerable children communicate better after Coram creative therapy, and 86% of young people in education, employment or training six months after leaving Coram’s Supported Housing.
Anything you can spare really makes a difference to these kids.
£6 will deliver a session to one child in a school, to help build their knowledge on how to manage risks and stay safe from harm.
£15 will pay for a young person to receive educational support
£30 will pay for Coram's adoption team to deal with the initial enquiries from people who are interested in becoming adopters.
£50 will help pay for a music therapy session to help a child suffering from trauma to communicate
£100 will contribute to the cost of education support for a young person living in Coram Supported Housing.
I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations!
