Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you know I'm running the London Marathon on April 13th. As I've never run a full marathon, it's a great challenge and a chance to raise some money for a fantastic cause.

The National Association for Children of Alcoholics (Nacoa) is a registered charity, founded in 1990 in Bristol to address the needs of children growing up in families where one or both parents suffer from alcoholism or a similar addictive problem. This includes children of all ages, many of whose problems only become apparent in adulthood.

Laura (my partner) has volunteered with the charity locally in Bristol and the work they do with young people really is invaluable.

Look out for me on the TV on the morning of the race, I'll be wearing an Investec inspired Zebra running vest!

Many thanks for your support.

About the charity

1 in 5 children in the UK are affected by their parents' alcohol problems. They are often frightened and isolated, with no one to turn to for help. Nacoa responds by providing a free, confidential telephone, 1-2-1 chat and email helpline.
