Story

Management and staff from Overgate in Dundee are set to take fundraising to new heights as they prepare to climb Britain’s highest mountain; Ben Nevis.

The ambitious endeavour is being undertaken on the 12th
of June by Centre Manager Malcolm Angus and three members of the
Overgate team; Darren Farningham, Jim Walker and Metta Ramsay, and is
part of a company-wide annual charity day.

With the
exception of Malcolm, all of the team are climbing novices but with each
step taken up the 1,345 metres high mountain benefiting Overgate's own
charity Help for Kids, as well as Great Ormond Street Hospital, motivation levels are high to raise as much as possible.

To support the Overgate team with the transportation of their luggage to and from Fort William, Dundee’s John Clark BMW Dealership are generously loaning an

X5 SUV, providing comfort and space that will be greatly appreciated by the burgeoning climbers!

Over £1,000
has been raised so far and the hope is that this total can be exceeded
further over the coming days with any and all levels of donations being
gratefully welcomed.
