On the 29th of March 2018 our best friend Spencer Halford, also known as ‘span’, tragically lost his fight with cancer. He fought so hard through it all and we will always be proud of him. Throughout his battle he was always the loud and bubbly character that we all knew and loved. As It’s been 5 years since his passing and as this is a landmark year, we wanted to do something big to remember 'our Span' and raise some money for charity.

This year, on the 3rd of September we are completing the UK’s 3 peak challenge within 24 hours, this challenge consists of climbing the highest peaks of England, Scotland, and Wales. This will be an extremely difficult challenge, but nothing comes close to what Our Span went through.

Cancer affects us all, and many of us have had our experiences with family and friends fighting long hard battles with this disease. Which it has done with another close friend of ours, but thankfully he is here with us today. Because of this, we are raising money and spreading awareness to a charity that’s close to our hearts called 'Move' Charity.

Cancer is a life-threatening disease that affects people of all ages. The mental and physical challenge of fighting this disease has a massive impact on the patient's life and even their families and friends around them. The day you find out you have cancer your life changes forever it will always be with you. The treacherous battle of fighting begins almost immediately with the intense treatment of chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy, and potentially having life changing surgery down the line. The journey is physically and mentally draining, as well as the unknowing of if there’s light at the end of tunnel. It not only has a physical and mental effect on your life, but also has a huge impact on your quality of life.

Move is a charity that helps you restore and improve quality of life during and following cancer treatment. Move is an amazing charity that works with cancer patients completing exercise to help restore their physical and psychological wellbeing. This charity is close to our hearts, and we want to help spread awareness and raise money for this amazing charity to give cancers patients the help they thoroughly deserve.

All money raised will be collected through this page and will go directly to MOVE charity.
