Only 7 months ago, Sal was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and we all deeply hoped (and expected) that we’d have a good handful of years with her. Sadly that wasn’t to be. At every turn she was in the “worst 1%” -  for aggressiveness of the cancer, for resistance to chemo, for side effects from chemo - the list goes on. She was finally taken from us on the 10th April 2023.

Throughout all of this however she remained optimistic and utterly fearless. Our gorgeous Sal was selfless, strong, determined and oozed positivity. She lived her life to the fullest and looked after everyone before herself - even if they were complete strangers. She radiated love and light and warmth and was an absolute force to be reckoned with. She was one hell of a boss bitch and there simply aren’t the words to describe how much we adored her, or how much we are going to miss our beautiful angel.

She had organised a charity ball (of which Demelza would have been a beneficiary) which had to be cancelled due to her diagnosis - she planned to pick up the baton again when her treatment allowed, so we have decided to do this instead in her memory.

She was such a compassionate person in general but especially for poorly children and would have loved you to remember her by donating to this wonderful cause.
