My twin sister was diagnosed with a brain tumour in the summer of 2016. I have been inspired to do something that has been on my bucket list a few years now- run a marathon. I want to challenge myself and raise money for a cause that helps people affected in a similar way. Research is a long and arduous task that eventually leads to better treatment of diseases like brain tumours. Brain Research UK also funds research for other illnesses and conditions that affect the brain, such as Alzheimers. I lost both my grandmothers to the disease and know how terrible it is to watch someone lose their memories. Please give generously to help this charity to continue their important work.
